Buddy Hooper’s first memories are of his mother and father working side by side on their farm in a small east Texas town. He was astonished when they took their produce to the market and provided it in return for items they did not grow themselves. It was his first look at the business world, and his blue eyes still light up as he talks about those days!
Looking back, he also remembers the men from the bank as they took his family’s cows and horses because there was no money to pay the bank loan. Buddy could not understand why the bankers would not accept the produce as payment, like the market owners. Little did he know what an impact that experience would have on him throughout his life.
Each time he heard of a business in trouble or an individual in need, he remembered his family’s cows and horses being led away. Just like his parents, the businesses and individuals had something of value but could not find a way to leverage it for what they needed.

Throughout his many years as a business consultant and owner, he would often use his own goods and services as payment for what he needed, which allowed his business to preserve its hard-to-get cash.
Then in the 60s, he learned about a new and better way to accomplish the same thing. This gave him the ability to supply what he had to others using a Complementary Currency System, and he started his own in 1989 in Sarasota, Florida. This company later became OrangeBee Money Global, which he still operates today.

For years he has been able to help many people, by bringing them additional income, and has expanded worldwide.

He also helps the unemployed, school, and college students earn additional income and pay no cash fees.

Buddy actually goes beyond helping people. Like the Chinese Proverb; “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime”, Buddy helps people to help themselves.

Sears, worked full-time while attending college in their fleet maintenance departments. Started as a mechanic helper, mechanic, then supervisor. Sears also enrolled me in their management training program.
Marines, Joined the Marines reserves when still in high school. When in college joined their Platoon Leaders Program, and wanted to be a Marine pilot. After completing almost all the training they discovered I was almost deaf and gave me an Honorable discharge as a Corporal.
Goodyear Retail Division: Started as a salesperson, held every position in the store, then Assistant District Manager. I left them to start my own business.
